Thanks, Val for the new posts!

I have added Mom’s book, Little Heathens, and thanks for sending it on to Mark and I!

I don’t remember where we are supposed to send books next, but I have some to send…I meant to send them back to Iowa with Mom, but forgot in all the craziness.  Val and Chris, if you have time to read them, I will send them to you next.  I will have some to send to Lorrie soon too!

I think we should all send our books to Matt LAST, since I am not sure he will read any of them. Everyone feel free to get on him about joining the book blog, too!

I added Dewey and Into the Wild since I know several of us have or want to read these books, might as well include them also!

Val, if you (or someone) can send me the author on Dewey it would be much appreciated, somehow this one did not make it on to my book list, so I don’t have author info.

Would anyone else be interested in posting their book list for this year on our blog?  I think we could make a seperate page just to see what else we are  all reading.

If anyone has any other cool ideas for improving our site, let me know!

Now I need to work on my review of Bro’s K….You are all going to like this book, I think! I loved it!

So it seems like here’s the deal on the posts:

I think as administrator, I have to “approve” your posts before they actually post.

So when you post something, be patient! It will probably be a day or so befor it gets on the site, but it WILL get there, I promise. Unless it is a duplicate of a previous post.

Welcome to our blog!

So, I created this blog to give invited members a place to discuss the books they are reading. As we read each other’s books, it will be exciting to trade comments and reviews of the books.

I have set it up so each book will have its own page. Hopefully this will eliminate “spoilers” on the main page–everyone be aware of where on the site you are posting, nobody likes a spoiler!

After you sign up, please leave a post on this home page with the title and author of your book, I will make a separate page for it.

Everyone please bear with me as I am a complete blog virgin and basically have no idea what I am doing! We may have a few kinks to work out as we go along, but I think it will be well worth it, and a lot of fun besides!
